These Terms and Conditions govern your access to and use of the Atta website, mobile applications, products, features, content, and related services collectively referred to as the “Services.” The Services are operated by Atta, referred to in these Terms as “Atta,” “we,” “us,” or “our.” By creating an account, accessing the Services, or otherwise using Atta, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, you must not access or use the Services.
1. About Atta

- Technology
- Artificial intelligence
- Education
- Healthcare
- Finance
- Professional development
Atta may provide concise headlines, short summaries, key takeaways, publication times, links to original sources, professional opinions, AI-generated summaries, original reporting, and user-created content.
Users may follow topics, industries, professional accounts, organizations, and content channels. The Services may also offer reactions, comments, sharing, bookmarking, search, filtering, reporting, blocking, fact-checking, appeals, and topic-based discussions.
2. Eligibility
You must be legally permitted to use the Services in your location.
If you are under the age at which you can legally enter into a binding agreement, you may use Atta only with the permission and supervision of a parent or legal guardian.
By using the Services, you represent that:
- The information you provide is accurate and current.
- You are authorized to use the email address and phone number associated with your account.
- Your use of the Services does not violate applicable law.
- You are not prohibited from using the Services.
3. Account Registration
Certain features require an Atta account.
You agree to provide accurate, complete, and current registration information. You are responsible for safeguarding your password, verification codes, devices, and account credentials.
You must promptly notify us at support@atta.news if you believe that:
- Someone has accessed your account without authorization.
- Your phone number or email address has been compromised.
- Your account credentials have been lost or stolen.
- Suspicious activity has occurred on your account.
You are responsible for activity conducted through your account unless prohibited by applicable law.
4. SMS Messaging Program
No mobile information will be shared with third parties/affiliates for marketing/promotional purposes. All other categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.
4.1 Program name
The SMS messaging program is called the Atta Account Verification and Security Program.
4.2 Program description
Atta uses SMS messages only for transactional and account-related purposes for the Atta brand, including:
- One-time password verification codes
- Phone-number verification
- Login verification
- Two-factor authentication
- Account security alerts
- Suspicious login or account activity notifications
Atta does not use this SMS program to send advertising, promotional, affiliate, lead-generation, or marketing messages. Consent is obtained directly by Atta for Atta’s own authentication and security messages only.
4.3 SMS consent and opt-in (message flow)
SMS consent is collected separately from general account registration and is not buried in unrelated agreements. Users opt in by completing the following steps in the Atta mobile application or supported Atta service:
- The user starts account registration, login, phone verification, two-factor authentication setup, or password reset.
- The user enters their mobile phone number.
- The user actively requests a verification or security code. The request control is not pre-checked.
- Before or at the time of the request, Atta discloses that messages are for authentication/security, message frequency varies, message and data rates may apply, and the user may reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help.
- Atta then sends a transactional SMS only to the number the user provided.
By providing your phone number and requesting a code or enabling SMS-based account security, you consent to receive automated transactional SMS messages from Atta at the phone number provided.
Consent to receive SMS messages is not consent to receive marketing messages and is not shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
You represent that:
- You are the subscriber or authorized user of the provided phone number.
- You have permission to receive messages at that number.
- The phone number you provide is accurate and current.
Atta retains records of SMS consent events as reasonably needed for security, compliance, and program operation.
See also our SMS Consent & Authentication Policy and Privacy Policy.
4.4 Message frequency
Message frequency varies based on your account activity, login attempts, verification requests, security settings, and possible security events.
You will generally receive a message only when you request a verification code or when Atta detects account activity that may require a security notification.
4.5 Message and data rates
Message and data rates may apply.
Charges are determined by your mobile carrier and wireless plan. Atta is not responsible for carrier charges, taxes, fees, message limits, or data usage associated with SMS messages.
4.6 Opt-out instructions
Reply STOP to any Atta SMS message to cancel SMS messages.
After you submit an opt-out request, you may receive a final confirmation message. Once your request has been processed, Atta will no longer send SMS messages to that phone number unless you later provide new consent.
You may also request assistance with disabling SMS messaging by emailing support@atta.news.
Opting out of SMS may prevent you from using SMS-based login verification, account recovery, or other security features. Where available, you may need to select another authentication method.
4.7 Help instructions
Reply HELP to any Atta SMS message for assistance.

4.9 Supported carriers and delivery
SMS delivery is subject to wireless-network availability, carrier support, device compatibility, service interruptions, filtering, and other circumstances outside Atta’s control.
Wireless carriers are not responsible for delayed or undelivered messages.
Atta does not guarantee that every verification code, alert, or other SMS message will be delivered within a particular period.
4.10 Changing or transferring your phone number
You must update your Atta account if your phone number changes.
Before transferring, canceling, or reassigning a phone number, you should remove it from your Atta account. You are responsible for ensuring that SMS messages are not sent to a person who later receives your former phone number.
