- Phone-number verification
- Login verification
- Two-factor authentication
- Account security alerts
- Suspicious account-activity notifications
Atta does not send marketing, advertising, promotional, or sales SMS messages through this program.
4.2 How users opt in (message flow)
Users provide express consent before any SMS is sent. The opt-in flow works as follows:
- The user opens Atta and chooses to register, sign in, verify a phone number, enable two-factor authentication, or reset a password.
- The user enters their mobile phone number in the Atta application.
- The user actively requests a verification or security code. Consent is not obtained through a pre-checked box.
- Atta presents disclosures that messages are for authentication/security only, that message frequency varies, that message and data rates may apply, and that the user can reply STOP to cancel or HELP for help.
- Only after that request does Atta send a transactional SMS containing a one-time code or security notice.
Additional details are available on our SMS Consent & Authentication Policy.
4.3 Message frequency and rates
Message frequency varies based on verification requests, login attempts, and account-security activity. Users generally receive a message only when they request a code or when a security event requires notice.

The only limited exception is disclosure to service providers that operate the messaging program on Atta’s behalf (for example, SMS delivery, security, fraud prevention, or customer support), and only as necessary to provide those services. Those providers are not permitted to use mobile numbers or SMS consent for their own marketing or promotional purposes.
